The Unicredit Leasing GmbH in 1963 as Hanseatische industrial machinery rentals GmbH founded and since then has its headquarters in Hamburg. It is a manufacturer-independent movables leasing company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Unicredit Bank . As part of the Unicredit Group , it is part of the leasing network that covers 17 countries. Unicredit Leasing is one of the leading leasing companies in Europe .
In addition to leasing and hire purchase , investment financing can also be offered through the subsidiary Unicredit Leasing Finance GmbH. Other subsidiaries are Unicredit Leasing Aviation GmbH and Mobility Concept GmbH. Unicredit Leasing GmbH is a member of the Federal Association of German Leasing Companies .
history
The company was founded in 1964 with initial capital of DM 30,000 as Hanseatische Industriemaschinenvermietung GmbH in Hamburg . In 1966 it was renamed Hanseatische Leasing GmbH . Initially, industrial machine leasing was particularly pursued. In the years after it was founded, the company expanded. Branches were added: first in southern Germany , and after 1990 also in Berlin , Dresden and Erfurt . Today Unicredit Leasing GmbH has eleven locations across Germany.
Hanseatische Leasing GmbH was renamed HVB Leasing GmbH in 2001 . After the merger of the shareholder, today's UniCredit Bank AG , with the Unicredit Group in 2005, HVB Leasing GmbH was rebranded to Unicredit Leasing GmbH in October 2009.
Products
Unicredit Leasing GmbH offers both classic leasing transactions and the development of concepts for structured business models. This product range is complemented by financing models from its subsidiaries.
The property portfolio of Unicredit Leasing includes machines and systems, cars, commercial vehicles, IT and other movables . It also offers sales financing for manufacturers and dealers.
