history

Share over 1000 Marks of Union Baugesellschaft on Actien from April 1922

The stock corporation was a terrestrial company founded on October 28, 1872, which acquired its own building land in the center of Berlin and its peripheral locations and built on it intensively towards the end of the 19th century. She regularly made a profit by reselling the plants. In 1925 the merger with Juhag Industrie- und Handels-AG in Berlin took place and parts were renamed Union Terraingesellschaft (also Union Immobilien-Verwertungs-Aktiengesellschaft ). The parent company, however, had its headquarters at Markgrafenstrasse 76. In 1933, an injection of funds from what was then Dresdner Bank saved the construction company. The stock exchange listing was discontinued in 1933, in 1934 it was divided into Union Baugesellschaft mbH and Union Immobilien-Verwertungsgesellschaft AG , the latter again holding 100 percent of Union Bau GmbH. But in 1936 the bankruptcy took place . The entire procedure of the dissolution in the context of the changed political conditions in the time of National Socialism and after the Second World War meant that the final deletion in the company register could only take place in 1968.
