The Unité des Communes valdôtaines Mont-Rose is an association of a total of 9 municipalities in the autonomous Italian region of Aosta Valley . It was formed by the usually quite small communities, which are at least partly in mountainous regions, in order to strengthen the region's economic development and to stop the population from emigrating. Further tasks are to promote the development of the valleys in the preservation of their cultural and ecological heritage, the protection of pastures and the development of tourism.
