United Future Organization

United Future Organization or earlier also UFO is an acid jazz project operating out of Japan .

In 1990, the group was founded as UFO by the Japanese Tadashi Yabe and Toshio Matsuura with the French Raphael Sebbag. She was at the center of the Japanese acid jazz scene and prepared the nu jazz . Her debut single I Love My Baby (My Baby Loves Jazz) (1991) became a big hit and a club classic. The following year the singles Loud Minority / Moon Dance were successful in clubs around the world.

The group initially mixed breakbeat , hip-hop and jazz , then moved into the field of trip-hop . For their recordings they got Mark Murphy , Cleveland Watkiss , Steve Williamson , Sabrina Malheiros and other artists for individual tracks . In 2002 Toshio Matsuura left. Tadashi Yabe and Raphael Sebbag continued as a duo under the name United Future Organization .
