United Nations Plaza (Manhattan)

United Nations Plaza is an address in the east of Manhattan ( New York ), at which, among other things, the UN headquarters and several skyscrapers are located.

The United Nations Plaza postal address actually applies to three individual street sections:

• The extension of East 44th Street between First and Second Avenues. The United Nations Plaza skyscraper is located here .
• The extension of East 45th St beyond First Avenue, which after a sharp bend back south to the level of 43rd Street. The UN headquarters are located here with the postal address 760 United Nations Plaza .
• The western part of First Avenue in the section between East 46th and East 49th Streets, where the street splits to feed traffic from the First Avenue Underpass into the above-ground traffic in its center . The Trump World Tower and the 100 United Nations Plaza Tower are located here . The German House is also located on the corner of 49th Street , which houses the Permanent Mission of Germany to the UN and the German Consulate General .
