The United Power Technology AG , based in Eschborn is the German holding company of a Chinese manufacturer of petrol and diesel-powered generator sets and water pumps. The Group's operating branches are located in Fuzhou . They produce devices in the power range from around 0.5 to 5  kilowatts , which are offered both under their own name and as OEM goods , for example under the Einhell brand .

The company was founded in 2003 as Fujian United Power Equipment Co., Ltd and has been listed in the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since June 2011 . In the 2015 financial year, the group achieved sales of the equivalent of 114 million euros with 586 employees.

From the IPO to mid-2016, United Power Technology generated profits and a negative cash flow at the same time . The reason for this is ongoing high investments in real estate and land rights, which are intended to serve for capacity expansion. The Group's sales could not be increased during this period. The share price fell from the issue price of EUR 9 to below EUR 1.

On November 20, 2018, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority imposed fines of EUR 400,000 on the company, fines of EUR 110,000 on December 10, 2018 and fines of EUR 500,000 on June 12, 2019 for breaches of disclosure obligations under the Securities Trading Act firmly.
