The University of Bihać is a university in Bihać ( Bosnia and Herzegovina ) and was founded on July 28, 1997.
Its origins go back to the establishment of engineering schools in the 1970s. There are faculties for biotechnology , economics , pedagogy , law , engineering , nursing science and an Islamic faculty for education (status: 2009). In the 2007/2008 academic year, 4881 students were enrolled .
The university is a member of the European University Association . Since 2006/2007, the courses have been adapted to the rules of the Bologna Process .
