The University School of Milwaukee (USM; dt . : Milwaukeer Universitätsschule ) is a private school in Milwaukee and River Hills ( Milwaukee County ), the school offerings of 15 grades, starting with the pre-kindergarten level ( pre kindergarten ) up to the university preparatory upper level .
The school was given its current name in 1963 when the Milwaukee Country Day School , the Milwaukee-Downer Seminary and the German-English Academy , founded in 1851 by Peter Engelmann , William Frankfurth and other immigrants of German origin , were merged in 1917 in Milwaukee University during the First World War School was renamed.
