The University of Hawaiʻi-West Oʻahu is a state university in Pearl City in the US state of Hawaii . With 2344 students (as of 2015) it is the smallest of the three universities in the University of Hawaii system .

history

The university was founded in 1976 and has been accredited as a university since 1981. From August 2010, a new campus was built southwest of Kapolei , which was completed in August 2012 and opened for the 2012/13 semester.

Course offer

The university offers four courses for a Bachelor of Arts (BA), one for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and three for the Bachelor of Applied Science . In addition, four certificate programs are offered.
