Hawaii Pacific University

The Hawaii Pacific University (also known as HPU known) was founded in 1965 and with nearly 7,000 students, the largest private university in Hawaii . Their campus is in Honolulu . Characterized by its extremely diverse student body , which includes more than 80 nations, the Hawaiʻi Pacific University (HPU) is a very well-known contact point for students from all over the world. In addition to students from the USA and East Asia, there are also a large number of Germans and Swedes who are doing their semester abroad at the HPU.

The HPU is best known for its extensive courses in marine biology and oceanography . The other courses also include Travel Industry Management, a major that is often chosen by students from Asia in particular.

The HPU has two university campuses. The Downtown Campus is located right in downtown Honolulu . Mainly business courses are offered here. The Hawaii Loa campus is located in Kaneohe , a town on the east coast of Oahu . Mainly science courses are offered there.
