Our Lady (Mimmenhausen)
The parish church of Our Lady is a Catholic church building in Mimmenhausen .
From the original church only the Romanesque tower, which was raised in the Gothic period, is preserved. The medieval nave was demolished in 1969 and replaced by a new building.
In the medieval tower on the side of the parish church hang four bronze bells, cast in 1955 by the Schilling foundry. The bells hang on wooden yokes in a two-story steel bell chair. They have the beats f 1 , a flat 1 , b 1 and 2 .
organ
The organ was built from 1964 to 1966 by the Rieger Orgelbau company ( Schwarzach ) and was used as a choir organ in Freiburg Minster until 2018 . It was dismantled in 2018 and sold to Mimmenhausen. The slider chest instrument has 25 stops on two manual works and a pedal .
