Subcommittee on Human Rights

The Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI) is a subcommittee of the European Parliament and supports the Committee on Foreign Affairs on issues relating to human rights, protection of minorities and the promotion of democratic values ​​in third countries. The Human Rights Subcommittee was set up in the 6th legislative period and had its first meeting on July 24, 2004. In July 2019, Marie Arena ( PS / S&D ) was elected chairman of the 9th legislative period (2019-2024).
