The Upper and Lower Towns Neibsheim two Outbound castles ( castles ) in and around the district Neibsheim the city Bretten in the district of Karlsruhe in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

The Oberburg Neibsheim was a hilltop castle and was probably built by the Lords of Neibsheim around 1300 to 1400 north of the village of Neibsheim on the site of the castle hump. The castle was mentioned in 1397. Nothing has been preserved from the former castle complex.

The lower castle Neibsheim , also called moated castle Neibsheim , was a moated castle to the left of the Neibsheimer Dorfbach near today's street "Schafgraben" in Neibsheim.

The moated castle was built by the lords of Neibsheim, later owner was Eitel Schelm von Bergen . The castle burned down in 1490 and the remains were removed in 1840. Nothing has been preserved from the former castle complex.
