The integrity of the legal system , also: inviolability of the legal system , is a police-law term from the danger prevention and describes the continuation of the legal system . It is part of the definition of the constituent element of public security , as it appears in the general clauses under police law . It is the task of every state to counteract the dangers to the legal order, either through prevention or repression . These dangers are averted by public officials , mostly law enforcement officers .
