history
The company began in 1947 as an electrical installation company with a shop in Memmingen. In 1969 the company expanded and settled in the south of Memmingen on Dornierstrasse. Two years earlier, Josef Urban sen. the first "single-head welding machine" for plastic windows . In the 1970s the entry into the production of automatic "multi-head welding machines" and the construction and production of automatic cleaning machines took place . In the following years branch plants were set up in Forchach and Fredericton. Urban delivers its products to customers in 100 countries around the world.
