Urban von Muleren († December 24, 1493 ), died of plague , was a Bernese notable .
Muleren was born to Johann von Muleren, Seckelmeister, and Anna Balmer. Through his marriage to Verena Schwend († 1502) from Zurich, he made a large fortune. He was from 1448 Grand Council , from 1452 Kleinrat , 1456 Governor of Aarwangen , 1464 bailiff of Lenzburg , from 1470 Venner and 1476 first Berner Schultheiss in Murten . He owned half of the Ligerz rule (which was sold to Bern in 1469 ) and was lord of Burgistein . Through his daughter Magdalena, his fortune went to Jakob von Wattenwyl and his descendants.
