The Urdolmen of Katharinenhof (also called Katharinenhof V ) is a large stone grave on the island of Fehmarn ( Schleswig-Holstein ). It is located south-east of Katharinenhof, east of Vitzdorf in an approximately 2.0 meter high and 40 × 18 m large boggy bed , of which some of the edging stones, but mostly not in situ , have been preserved.
The grave has the Sprockhoff no. 255. It originated between 3500 and 2800 BC. BC in the Neolithic as a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK).
At the eastern end of the hill is the roughly rectangular, small chamber of a transverse ancient dolmen with a single capstone. The western side consists of one, the eastern side of two bearing stones. In the south the chamber is closed by a stone. The keystone on the north side is significantly lower and serves as an entrance . Several of the confused surrounding stones of the megalithic bed were broken up by explosions. The remains of the drill holes can be seen.
