The Urisee is a small swimming lake near Reutte in Tyrol . The lake is not far from the Reutte bypass and is owned by the Reutte market town . Most of the sunbathing areas are natural bank areas, only a small part is straightened and consists of wood or concrete surfaces. The approach to the Urisee leads via the district Mühl von Reutte.
The water temperature rises to 23 degrees in summer. The maximum depth of the lake is 38 meters.
A special feature of Lake Uri is that it has neither an inflow nor an outflow and the water level is therefore exposed to large fluctuations (up to 4 m).
The water quality of Lake Uri is rated by the EU Commission with the blue triangle, the best of three categories.
The Urisee is a popular diving lake. The depth and visibility of seven to twenty meters is ideal for this. The underwater landscape offers bizarre formations of rocks and trees overgrown with slime algae. Hiking trails around the Urisee and to the Dürrenberger Alm are popular toboggan runs in winter.
