Urmas Kaljend (born July 24, 1964 ) is a former Estonian football player on the position of a defender who mainly acted in central defense .

He played in Estonia for the clubs Norma Tallinn, SK Sport Tallinn, TVMK Tallinn and FC Spartak Vousaari. In Finland for IFK Mariehamn, Kokkola PV, Tampere United and Lohjan Pallo. At Lohjan Pallo, he scored 22 goals in 186 games over six years.

For the national team of Estonia, he played 20 internationals. In 1990 he and his family fled the Soviet Union to Finland , where he still lives today. After the end of his active career, he became a coach and also works as a groundskeeper on a golf course.
