Urs Bühler (singer)

Urs Toni Bühler (born July 19, 1971 in Willisau , Canton of Lucerne ) is a Swiss tenor . He became internationally known as a member of the classic - pop group Il Divo .

Until he was 17, he sang in the Lucerne hard rock band Conspiracy. After graduating from high school , he first studied music in order to be able to live from his great passion. His singing teacher discovered his great potential and advised him to continue studying in the Netherlands . Until Bühler joined the classic crosso association Il Divo , he sang oratorios in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany. He was invited to a casting in London and was cast for Il Divo. The group only met two days before the start of recording their first album. They have now released 12 albums. At the opening of the 2006 World Cup , they sang the hit "Time of our lives" with Toni Braxton .
