Ursula Birghan

Ursula Birghan (born October 15, 1942 in Dresden ) is a former German politician ( CDU ).

biography

Ursula Birghan fled the GDR to West Berlin with her mother in 1955 . She completed school there with the Abitur and then completed an apprenticeship as a foreign language secretary.

She was married to the district mayor of Berlin-Reinickendorf Günter Birghan (1939–1983).

politics

Birghan has been a CDU member since 1961. She was a member of the Reinickendorf District Assembly from 1985 to 1990 . She then held a seat in the Berlin House of Representatives until 2001 .
