Ursula Bleisch-Imhof

Ursula Bleisch-Imhof (born Imhof ; born December 2, 1942 in Bern ) is a Swiss puppeteer and theater director. Together with her husband Hanspeter Bleisch , she directs the Bleisch Puppet Theater .

Life

Ursula Imhof attended the teachers' seminar in Bern and the Zurich School of Applied Arts and took private acting lessons. She taught at the Swiss school in Lima and worked at the teachers' seminar in Wohlen. In 1975 she met Hanspeter Bleisch and from 1976 worked in his puppet theater. In 1978 she married him. She worked on pieces from the repertoire, the first piece was in 1977 together with Jürg Hebeisen Bahnhof Requiem . In 1996 the Gewerbemuseum Winterthur showed its performance in figure and stage construction in a retrospective.
