Ursula Gerhardt

Ursula Gerhardt (born April 25, 1943 in Düsseldorf ) is a German lawyer and former judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Career

After studying law Gerhardt in 1971 with her dissertation on "The distinction between preparation and attempt at indirect perpetrator " at the Ruhr-University Bochum for Dr. iur. PhD. In 1972 she entered the higher judicial service of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg , where she initially worked at the Judicial Examination Office, the Hamburg Higher Regional Court , the Hamburg District Court and the Hamburg Regional Court . In 1975 Gerhardt was appointed judge at the Hamburg Regional Court. After secondments to the Hamburg District Court and the Hamburg Senate Chancellery, Gerhardt was appointed presiding judge at the Hamburg Regional Court in 1989. In 1991 she was appointed director of the Hamburg-Blankenese district court .

On April 12, 1996, Gerhardt was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice, where she was a member of the 5th Criminal Senate. In this Senate she participated in numerous decisions on GDR injustice.

At the end of April 30, 2008, Gerhardt retired due to age.
