Ursula Müller (handball player)
Ursula Müller , b. Rossow, (born December 23, 1911 in Berlin ; † September 28, 2014 ) was a German athlete and handball player .
At the age of eleven she joined a gymnastics club in Berlin-Tempelhof; in the shot put she reached a distance of 7.35 meters at the age of 14 and won a championship title.
After she joined the gymnastics community in Berlin in 1929 , she also changed her sport and became a handball player. She first played on the right winger position , later as a goalkeeper . In 1938 she won the German championship, and her successes also include three runner-up titles and being called up to the national team.
