Ursula Oetker

Ursula Oetker (born May 26, 1915 - December 23, 2005 ) was a German entrepreneur .

Oetker was the granddaughter of the former CEO and baking powder pioneer August Oetker and the sister of Rudolf-August Oetker . The Schwartau were already in the 1960s by inheritance into the ownership of Ursula Oetker, however, were unprofitable at this time and an economic basket case. However, through a reorganization they later developed into the German market leader for jams and became profitable again.

Her son, Arend Oetker , is Vice President of the Federation of German Industries - BDI.

Ursula Oetker was buried in Detmold .
