Hans Böse

Hans Böse (born November 4, 1929 in Bremen , † 1978 in Canada ) was a German wrestler in the welterweight division .

Life

Under the guidance of Walter Bauer, he and his twin brother Kurt, who later emigrated to Canada and made it up to the Olympic wrestler, learned to wrestle in Bremen. In 1951 he joined the Untertürkheim KVU , whereupon the first successes quickly set in on the regional and Württemberg level. In addition to wrestling, he and his wife built a successful butcher shop in Stuttgart .

At the German Championships he achieved the following successes (gr = Greco-Roman style, F = freestyle, W = welterweight):

The qualification for participation in the Olympic Games or World Championships was denied to Hans Böse. But he won in international matches against Arsic, Yugoslavia (1955 World Cup third in W), Rantanen, Finland and Michiels, Belgium .

Hans Böse died, only 49 years old, of heart failure while visiting his brother Kurt in Canada.
