Uruguay Píriz (* in the 20th century) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

Field player Píriz has been under contract with Club Atlético Peñarol since at least 1974 and was part of the squad of the team competing in the Primera División from 1975 to 1976 . In 1975 he won the Uruguayan championship with the "Aurinegros". In 1976 he was used as part of the Copa Libertadores by coach Juan Alberto Schiaffino in March and April that year six times (no goal) in the group stage of the first round.

National team

Píriz was part of the Uruguayan U-20 national team , which took part in the 1974 Junior South American Championship in Chile . The team became vice-South American champions. During the tournament he was used by coach Carlos Silva Cabrera five times. He didn't score a goal. In 1975 he was part of the Uruguayan squad at the Pan American Games . Uruguay were eliminated in the preliminary round. Píriz ran in the tournament at least in the 1-1 draw against Cuba on October 13, 1975.
