Useless Island ( English for useless island ) is a 300 m long, rocky island off the Danco coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Gerlache Strait , it is 100 m east of Useful Island and west of Rongé Island .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2017 based on the naming of the larger "sister island" to the west.
