Uta von Kardorff , also Uta von Witzleben , born Huberta Sophie Viola Edelgarde von Witzleben-Normann , (born October 9, 1921 in Hanover ) is a German journalist and writer .

Life

She comes from the Thuringian noble family von Witzleben and was the daughter of the first marriage of the director of the Westinghouse brake company, Wolfgang von Witzleben. She initially published under her maiden name.
