Ute Sander (* in Bochum ) is a German model and actress who became famous for her role as "Gabi Drösel" in the film Otto - The New Film .

Life

Ute Sander grew up in Oldenburg, Neuenkirchen-Vörden (district Nellinghof) and Hamburg . After taking part in the second feature film with Otto Waalkes , she was featured in the October 1987 issue of the men's magazine Playboy. In December 1987 she graced the front page of the French women's magazine Femme Actuelle . In 1988 she moved to New York, where she attended Herbert Berghof's drama school for two years . In 1993 she moved to Texas and began to devote herself to animal welfare , especially the protection of horses.

Sander now lives in Arlington, Texas and works as a freelance nurse. She published an autobiography on December 9, 2011.
