Ute Schall

Ute Schall (* 1947 in Buchen ) is a German author.

After graduating from high school in 1966, she studied administration of justice . She is the head of collections in the prehistoric and early history department of the Buchen district museum. She writes essays on ancient historical topics, publishes non-fiction books, biographies and historical novels.

In the Süddeutsche Zeitung , Karl Christ described her book Die Juden im Römischen Reich ( The Jews in the Roman Empire ) , published in 2002, as a “well-founded introduction” to the subject.
