Utenhusa is a lost place in the area of ​​today's Heilbronn district of Biberach in northern Baden-Württemberg .

History of the place Utenhusa

Utenhusa was mentioned as early as 827 and, according to Heim, emerged from a former Roman farm located on an old Roman military road southwest of Biberach.

Utenhusa has received large donations in the course of its history: In 827 the place received an extensive donation from Richard and Udo .

Interpretation of the place name Utenhusa

According to Heim, the place name is interpreted as "to (near) the houses of Udo".
