Uwe Heinelt

Uwe Heinelt (born August 8, 1968 in Berlin ) is a German illustrator and comic artist .

After graduating from POS , Heinelt first completed an apprenticeship as an offset printer from 1985–1987 . In 1997 he made up his Abitur and later began studying social and business communication at the University of the Arts in Berlin. He has been working as a freelance illustrator since 1999. He drew the "Lolle" from the television series Berlin, Berlin and designed "Betty", an advertising figure for the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe .
