Uwe Hobler

Uwe Hobler (born August 31, 1957 in Plauen ) is a German politician ( PDS / Die Linke ). From 1997 to 2005 he was federal treasurer of the PDS, since 2005 he has been the finance officer of the left-wing parliamentary group in the Bundestag .

Life

From 1977 to 1978 he studied at the Timirjasew Academy for Agriculture in Moscow , but had to break off his studies for health reasons. Hobler then studied at the LPG University in Meißen , graduating in 1984 as Dipl. Agr. Ing. oec . In the GDR , the trained zoo technician was a . a. Employee at the council of the district of Strausberg .

After the fall of the Wall , Hobler was the authorized signatory of a real estate company and state treasurer of the PDS in Brandenburg . In 1997 he became Federal Treasurer of the PDS. With the re-entry of his party into the Bundestag in the 2005 Bundestag election , he became the finance officer of the left-wing parliamentary group there.

Hobler lives in Frankfurt (Oder) .
