Uwe Keller

Uwe Keller (born October 23, 1962 in Saarlouis ) is a German actor . He became known to a wide audience at international film festivals with Timo Müller's award-winning drama Morscholz .

Life

Keller initially learned the trade of retail salesman, but his wish was to become an actor. He made his first big appearance at the age of 17 in front of around 300 spectators as the original “Saarlouia Buwe”, in which he imitated Otto. At the beginning of the 1980s, he was admitted to the entrance exam at the Saarland University of Music, drama department, but had to join the armed forces.

Years later he completed a camera acting course at the Coaching Company in Berlin and attended the private acting school acting and arts in Saarbrücken. Uwe Keller, Mélanie Fouché and Laurens Walter play the leading roles in the movie Morscholz ; The film won the German Film Award for Best Director in Munich in 2008 .

In addition to his roles in film and television, Keller can also be seen as a theater actor, including as Lieutenant Cabinet in the West Side Story at the Saarland State Theater.
