Laurens Walter (* 1977 in Münsterlingen , Switzerland ) is an Austrian actor .

Live and act

Laurens Walter gained his first professional theater experience with the Bochum project Theater Total . From 1998 to 2001 he then attended the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum . After completing his training, Laurens Walter was employed at the Schauspielhaus Bochum , the Wuppertal theaters and the Theater Aachen . In 2003 he also ran the youth club at the Aachener Theater together with Cornelia Dörr .

In 2001 Laurens Walter stood in front of the camera for the first time for the television film When Love Is Lost . Laurens Walter also starred in the film Die Österreichische Methode , which premiered in 2006 at the Hof Film Festival . Laurens Walter became known to a wider audience through the role of Lars Lehnhoff in the TV series Stromberg . Laurens Walter played his first leading role in the feature film Morscholz, directed by Timo Müller .

In 2017 Laurens Walter played the role of Commissioner Fischer in the film drama Out of Nowhere by Fatih Akin .

After Laurens Walter completed a training program in New York , he also played from 2008 in the Stuttgart and Berlin shows as Blue Man in the Blue Man Group .

At the same time he played at HAU, Ballhaus Naunynstrasse and the Shakespeare Company Berlin.

Laurens Walter is married to the actress İdil Üner , has two daughters and lives in Hamburg .
