Uwe Walz

Uwe Walz (born March 22, 1962 ) is a professor of economics , especially industrial economics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main .

Life

In February 1988 he graduated from the University of Tübingen with a degree in economics . There doctorate Uwe Walz also in July 1992 while working as a research assistant at Adolf Wagner. From 1992 to 1995 he had the opportunity to work as a research fellow at both the London School of Economics and the University of California at Berkeley . In addition, he was a member of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft from 1993 to 1995. In December 1995 he qualified as a professor and was given the license to teach at the University of Mannheim . From December 1995 to 1997 Uwe Walz taught economics at the University of Bochum . From 1997 to 2002 he held the chair for economics, in particular economic theory, at the University of Tübingen . Since October 2002 Uwe Walz has held the chair in economics, especially industrial economics at the University of Frankfurt. He also teaches at the university's in-house Goethe Business School.
