Uwe Woyde (born February 5, 1966 ) is a former German football player in defense . He played for FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder) in the GDR major league .

Career

In his youth, Woyde played for BSG Elektronik Teltow and KJS Frankfurt (Oder). In 1984 he went to FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder), where he initially worked for the second team. In the first team, which played in the major league in 1986/87 , made his debut on May 23, 1987, when he was in the starting line-up on matchday 25 in the 0-1 defeat against BSG Progress Bischofswerda . The next day he came to his second use. In the following season he was used with eleven games and two goals still mainly in the reserve team, which played in the second-rate GDR league. He was only used once in the major league. Only after relegation to the GDR league Woyde was used more often in the first team. In 1988/89 he had 17 games and one goal in 1989/90 . The following season he played with Frankfurt in the third division league, where he scored one goal in 22 games. In 1991 Woyde moved to 1. FSV PCK 90 Schwedt , where he stayed until 1993. He was then signed by Energie Cottbus . There he could not prevail, however, and only played eleven games in that year. In 1995 he went to Spandauer SV , for whom Woyde completed 72 games (one goal) in the Regionalliga North / East. In 1997 he moved to Fortuna Schwedt as a player- coach before ending his career in 1999. Since then he has worked as a coach at several clubs.
