Víctor Ibarbo (born May 19, 1990 in Cali ) is a Colombian football player .
Career
Ibarbo started playing football in the youth team of Club la Cantera . In 2007 he moved to the youth team of the Colombian first division club Atlético Nacional , for which he came in 2008 for his first appearance in the first team. There he completed 97 games in three years. As a result, he drew the Colombian national coach's attention in 2010 and was appointed to the national team. Previously, he had already participated in the qualification for the U-20 World Cup with the Colombian U-20 national team in 2009 .
For the 2011/12 season Ibarbo moved to Italy to Cagliari Calcio . On January 5, 2013, he was racially discriminated against in the game between Cagliari Calcio and Lazio .
On February 1, 2015, Ibarbo moved to AS Roma on loan until the end of the 2014/15 season . On September 1, Ibarbo moved to Watford FC in the English Premier League and received a loan contract until the end of the season. In January 2016 he was awarded to his youth club Atlético Nacional until the end of the season.
In July 2016, Ibarbo was awarded to Panathinaikos Athens , but came on only eight missions, so that he returned to Cagliari in January 2017.
In March 2017, he moved to the Japanese first division club Sagan Tosu on loan . After the loan ended, he was signed by Sagan Tosu in early July 2017. From July 2019 to December 2019 he was loaned to the second division club V-Varen Nagasaki . After the loan ended, he was firmly signed by Nagasaki.
