Víctor Moya

Víctor Moya (born October 24, 1982 ) is a Cuban high jumper .

In 2005 he won gold at the Central America and Caribbean Championships in 2.26 m. Shortly afterwards, he surprisingly took second place at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki , together with Russian Yaroslav Rybakov in 2.29 m. At the athletics world finals, he increased again and won in 2.35 m.

In 2006 he was fourth at the World Indoor Championships in Moscow in 2.30 m and Cuban champion in 2.31 m. At the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka, he came in fifth place as well as at the 2008 World Indoor Championships in Valencia.

Moya is 1.96 m tall and weighs 80 kg.
