Remarks

The title name of the polka refers to the spa town of Bad Vöslau , which is about 35 kilometers south of Vienna near the city of Baden . It is not known whether Strauss visited this place as a spa guest or as a musician. What is certain is that he named this polka after the spa town. The premiere took place on the occasion of the Hernalser Kirchtag (church fair ) in Ungers Casino in Vienna.

The playing time on the CD listed under individual records is 2 minutes and 48 seconds. This time can vary somewhat depending on the conductor's musical conception.
