VVIP Kiel

The VVIP Kiel GmbH ( United Supply, Infrastructure and Planning, Task Carrier Public Transport Kiel ) existed since September 5, 2003 and was a 100% subsidiary of the state capital Kiel since the end of 2006 . As a holding company, it held significant shares in the Kieler Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH ( KVG ), the Schlepp- und Fährgesellschaft Kiel mbH ( SFK ), the waste incineration company Kiel GmbH & Co. KG ( MVK ) and the Stadtwerke Kiel . One of their main tasks is to order and finance public transport services and at the same time to ensure the quality of public transport in Kiel.
