The VIENNA-TEC is an international trade fair for the industry , which in the biennial rhythm on the grounds of the Messe Wien in the 2nd Viennese district takes place.

As organizers that occurs Reed Exhibitions on. Over 500 exhibitors present their products on the site. The number of visitors is given as around 30,000 for the four-day fair. Conferences are also held during the fair.

The fair itself was created in 2006 from the union of the six trade fairs:

  • AUTOMATION AUSTRIA (industrial automation and drive technology)
  • ENERGY-TEC (power distribution and switching technology)
  • IE Industry Electronics
  • INTERTOOL (manufacturing technology)
  • MEASURING TECHNOLOGY (measuring, testing technology and quality assurance)
  • SCHWEISSEN / JOIN-EX (welding, connecting, cutting, testing and protecting)
