V is the first studio album by the American singer Vanessa Hudgens . It was released on September 26, 2006 on the Hollywood Records label . The songs Come Back to Me , Say OK and Let's Dance were released as singles .

background

Hudgens signed the record deal with Hollywood Records in early 2006 after she not only appeared in High School Musicals as an actress, but also for the first time as a singer. The album was then recorded in the summer of 2006 and released on September 26, 2006 in the United States . In Germany it was published on February 9, 2007.

Single releases

With Come Back to Me , the album's first single was released on August 25, 2006. It ranked 55 in the Billboard Hot 100 and number 58 on the charts in Germany . The second single Say OK , which was released on March 27, 2007, ranked 61st on the Billboard Hot 100. Hudgens' then partner Zac Efron can also be seen in the accompanying music video . Let's Dance was released as the third single .
