Vadim Hurried Rig
Vadim Simowitsch Eilenkrig ( Russian Вадим Симович Эйленкриг , born May 4, 1971 in Moscow ) is a Russian jazz trumpeter (also flugelhorn ) and music teacher.
Life
Eilenkrig's father Sima Eilenkrig is a jazz saxophonist who has worked for many years in Estrada formations with Iossif Kobson and Lyudmila Gurtschenko . His son Vadim received a classical music education; he graduated from the State Schnittke Music Institute, the State University of Art and Culture Moscow and an aspirantur at the State Classical Maimonid Academy. After completing his studies, Eilenkrig worked in various Moscow jazz orchestras, with Anatoli Kroll , Oleg Lundstrem and as a soloist in the big band Igor Butmans , with which the recordings were made ( Carnival of Jazz II ). In 2009 his debut album The Shadow of Your Smile (Butman Music) was released, recorded in New York with Hiram Bullock and Will Lee . In the field of jazz he was involved in three recording sessions between 1003 and 2008. He teaches at the Chair of Jazz Music in the Faculty of World Music Culture at the Maimonid State Classical Academy and gives master classes at the Moscow State Conservatory.
