Vahur force
Vahur Kraft (born March 11, 1961 in Tallinn ) is an Estonian economist and politician. He was President of the Estonian Central Bank ( Eesti Pank ) from 1995 to 2005 .
Life
Vahur force in 1984 with a degree in economics at the State University of Tartu from. He continued his education in Moscow , Finland , Italy , Washington and Vilnius in the 1980s . From 1984 to 1990 he was department head of the Soviet Savings Bank in Tallinn . In 1990/91 Kraft worked as deputy chairman of the management of the Estonian Social Bank ( Eesti Sotsiaalpank ).
From 1991 to 1995 Vahur Kraft was Deputy President of the Estonian Central Bank ( Eesti Pank ). On April 27, 1995, he replaced Siim Kallas as President of Eesti Pank . Kraft held the office until June 7, 2005. He was replaced by Andres Lipstok .
Vahur Kraft now works for the Finnish financial group Nordea in Estonia.
