Vaidievutis Ipolitas Geralavičius
Vaidievutis Ipolitas Geralavičius (born August 13, 1952 in Geručiai , Rajongemeinde Pakruojis ) is a Lithuanian mathematician , diplomat, professor .
Life
In 1975 he graduated from the Vilniaus universitetas , received his doctorate in mathematics in 1980 and qualified as a professor in 1989. From 1975 to 1980 he worked as a research assistant at the Lietuvos mokslų akademija research institute . From 1980 he worked at the economic institute. He has been a professor since 1999. From 1990 to 1992 he was visiting professor at the University of Bonn . From 1996 to 2000 he was head of the Economic Research Center at Lietuvos bankas . From 2004 to 2013 he was a board member of the Lithuanian Central Bank and from 2000 to 2004 Ambassador in Berlin. Since 2005 he has taught at the Faculty of Business Management at Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas .
