Vaidotas Blažiejus Abraitis (born October 18, 1942 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian radio electronics technician and former politician , minister .

Life

In 1964 he completed his degree in radio engineering and then did his doctorate at the Kauno politechnikos institutas . In 1988 he completed his habilitation and in 1991 became a professor . From 1964 to 1994 he worked at the Research Institute for Microelectronics “Venta”, from 1994 to 1997 Lithuanian Minister of Communications and Informatics in the Stankevičius Cabinet , then Vice Minister, from 1997 to 2002 analyst at AB “ Vilniaus bankas ”, from 2002 to 2003 head of the investment department at AB " Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai ".
