Väinö Hannikainen

Väinö Atos Hannikainen (born January 12, 1900 in Jyväskylä , † August 7, 1960 in Kuhmoinen ) was a Finnish composer .

Pekka Juhani Hannikainen's son studied in Helsinki , Berlin and Paris . From 1923 to 1957 he was principal harpist with the Helsinki City Orchestra.

He composed a ballet , a symphonic poem , a harp concerto, variations for harp and orchestra, drama and film music and songs .
