Vajazzling refers to a form of temporary body design , with decorative elements being attached to the mound of the venus . The name is a suitcase word from vagina and "dazzling" (English [\ ˈda-zəling \] ; "shiny, radiant").
Self-adhesive crystal stones are used for this, which adhere to the skin with a special adhesive. A prerequisite for vajazzling is prior depilation of the region using Brazilian waxing or epilation , as hair that grows back can affect the gemstones. The procedure is used by professional beauticians, usually in a waxing studio.
Vajazzling first became known to a wider public in 2010 when actress Jennifer Love Hewitt reported on her vajazzling on the George Lopez Show . In her later published book, Vajazzling is discussed in detail.
